The Bell Super Helmet

The Bell Super is my favorite all around helmet for the money. It is such a versatile helmet that I use mine while commuting in the snow during the winter and while getting RAD on the dirt in the summer time. It suction cups to your cranium for ultimate protection while maintaining comfort. It features a large visor with google guide that works well with both goggles and sunglasses. If you want to fit into the "Enduro" scene the Bell Super is the most "Enduro" helmet on the market. I guaranteed that wearing this helmet will make you a 5x more RAD rider. When I put this helmet on I instantly get stoked about the trail I'm going to ride!

No one will argue that the best or first thing to upgrade on your road bike would be a good wheel-set. When searching for new wheels you are generally forced to pick between only two of the following: Weight, Durability, and Cost. The Bontrager Race X Lite Wheels are such a good wheelset that you will be getting the value of all three.

At the heart of these wheels are DT Swiss hubs. The hubs feature DT's star ratchet designed internals, smooth sealed bearings, and an 11 speed Shimano freehub. The hubs are completely user serviceable, and require no special tools to rebuild, or for spoke replacement. The wheels use top of the line DT swiss straight pull bladed spokes. With 18 radially laced spokes up front, and 24 in the back with a unique radial, and 2-cross on the drive side to keep the wheels snappy and quick under acceleration. The rims are extremely strong, crazy light, and reinforced at the spoke nipple to reduce fatigue and increase life of the rim. The wheels utilize Bontragers TLR (tubeless ready) design and can easily have the tires set up tubeless. At an astonishing light 1440 grams they put most wheels to shame in both weight and cost. (*cough cough Dura-ace, Zipp cough*)

I have been running these wheels for a few hundred miles now and even with heavy all-weather tires they have been a huge upgrade in weight savings and snappy performance. I have never been a strong climber and usually only grunt up to be able to bomb back down. With the Bontrager RXL wheels I have not only been able to climb quicker, but can feel the power going into getting me where I want to go! My only complaint is that I didn't get them sooner!

The wheels come with a tubeless rim strips, valves, as well as internal cam quick release skewers. Thanks to Bontrager's Wheel Works the wheels come true down to a 1/10th of a millimeter, and after being checked over multiple times will stay that way longer. Race X Lite wheels run $424.99 for the front, and $579.99 are easily going to make them the best wheel-set under a $1000 (even compared to a few hundred over). These wheels are the perfect upgrade for anyone who wants a durable long lasting wheelset that will climb easier, ride faster and farther. Come into the shop and see them for yourself!
